Since we embarked on our journey in February 2024, our aim has been to channel more capital into the water industry and to foster the growth of new technologies on a global scale, thereby creating significant impact. Despite water being essential in all facets of life, including the manufacturing of renewable energy products, only about 1,5-3% of all climate investments are directed towards water. We are therefore committed to simplify the process for investors to do investments and supporting water technology companies on their growth journey.
Reflecting on 2024, we observe a rising interest among investors who typically engage in long-term private equity investments, now showing curiosity about the water sector but lacking guidance on how to begin and manage a portfolio of water companies. Similarly, water technology companies require strong support to expand their businesses and grow internationally. Here we provide hands-on advisory to boards, founders, and CEOs, acting as a trusted partner for critical decision-making and offering support to partners worldwide.
Our co-founders have developed some of the most pioneering innovation and corporate venturing units in the industry, and our senior advisors have managed multimillion-dollar companies and being part of leading advisory firms. This has given us a strong track record in executing corporate innovation and leveraging the global water innovation ecosystem. This combination gives us a distinctive offering for the water industry, a global team with top tier execution experience and regional anchoring, which is increasingly gaining momentum in the market.
That's why we are looking very much forward to a 2025 where we believe the water industry in general will see a significant amount of capital flowing (no pun intended) into the industry from new players as well as a consolidation game for water technology companies through dedicated SPV's.
